December Newsletter 2016

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

Below is our December Newsletter. This month we look back over the year and give thanks for continued opportunities to share the Gospel in prisons, for new doors being opened and for ex-offenders who continue to go on with the Lord.

This year has seen Daylight’s work expand into the North of England and we are thankful for many opportunities to work in prisons there. Please pray that new volunteers and Prayer & Support Groups would be provided to take up these opportunities.

A particular encouragement this year was hearing from our team of volunteers in Scotland that prisoners who came to our services and courses in prison have been attending church since their release and have been bringing their families with them. Please pray that these churches would be a support and encouragement to these men and that they would continue to attend regularly.

This season can be particularly difficult for prisoners as they are away from their families. Please pray that our Sunday services and Bible studies over the holiday period would be an encouragement to them and that as the message of Jesus’ birth is shared, many would come know Him as their Saviour.

Thank you for your support during 2016.

 Yours in Christ,

Hannah Mansfield
