Gaius Phillingham and Tracey

Deuteronomy 31:8 is a verse that has been proved time and again in our lives

“The LORD is the one who will go before you.
He will be with you;
He will not leave you or abandon you.
Do not be afraid or discouraged.”

Christian parents taught me from my earliest days about God & my need of His appointed saviour, the Lord Jesus, and I was baptised in my teens. This was followed by exposure to sound exegetical preaching at University, where I was supposed to be studying engineering, but more importantly Tracey and I met. Tracey’s parents had sent her to an afternoon Sunday school and these seeds bore fruit under that same preaching. We ended up on the East Coast, where I had begun a life of ministry instead of going offshore as an engineer. First at a Anglican Residential Activity Centre, then as a Church based Youth Worker and finally as Pastor of an FIEC church we have moved slowly south down the East Coast. Each move has been clearly the LORD’s leading and once more this time He has gone before.

On the way down the East Coast we have been blessed with so much including: 26 years of marriage, 2 grown but not yet flown children, 4 ministry postings, 2 flats & 2 houses, 1 dog, 4 chickens, yet we have always been 250 miles from family! We currently worship with an Anglican church that is part of AMiE, but have been involved with FIEC, CofE, BU and Methodists Churches over the years.
