Write to a Prisoner

Many prisoners receive little or no contact from family and friends during their time in prison, and can easily feel cut off from the outside world, so receiving a personal letter can be a great encouragement to them as they serve out their sentences. As well as being an opportunity to show them some Christian compassion in a practical way, it also provides an informal setting for sharing the Gospel, and encouraging those who are already Christians in their faith.

“Most of my family and friends no longer wish to know me, so just having someone to write to who is a Christian really means the world to me, so thank you with all my heart”.
