Prison Week Prayer Diary

For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’, has made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

Each year there is a national Prisons Week, encouraging individuals and churches to pray for those who live and work in our nation’s prisons. Prisons Week 2023 ran from Sunday 8^th to Saturday 14^th October, and we put together a Prayer Diary to help our supporters pray for Daylight during that week.

The prayer items for each day were made available on our PrayerMate feed and Social Media pages, and for the first time in 2023, we also had the opportunity to pray together via Zoom on three evenings during that week.
