Hannah Mansfield

I grew up in a Christian home where I was taught the things of Christ from my earliest years. However, it was only after the loss of a couple of close relatives in my early teens that I began to see my own need of Christ and came to trust in Him as my Saviour.

Unsure of what I should do once I finished education, I began to carry out some voluntary work for Daylight alongside my studies and ended up staying! I never would have imagined that prison ministry would be something I would get involved in, but over the last twelve years, it's been a joy to be part of sharing the good news of Christ with those in prison, to get to know the individual Christians and churches that support us, and to see the way the Lord has blessed and sustained the work of Daylight over these years.

For the last couple of years, I've been part of a new FIEC church plant where I'm grateful to have a supportive church family, and it has been wonderful to see the plant growing and becoming more established. Chris and I met at the EMW's Aber Conference and are getting married this summer. We are looking forward to setting up home here in Chelmsford, as well as serving together at church and with Daylight.
