John Little and Tracy

As a teenager I attended a week’s Youth Camp in the Yorkshire Dales. It was on that camp that the fact of my own sinfulness and rebellion against God struck home. One night in tears in my sleeping bag I prayed to God to forgive me and thanked the Lord Jesus Christ for taking my place, dying on the cross for my sins. The God who saved me graciously keeps me.

Tracy and I have been married since October 1981. We attend an Evangelical Congregational Church in the Yorkshire Dales, where I am an elder. I have been a UCCF staff-worker, an RE teacher and a prison chaplain and now in my ‘retirement’ work part-time as a Free Church Prison Chaplain and a Prison Ministry Associate with Daylight Christian Prison Trust. I am also a voluntary representative in North Yorks and the north-east for the Slavic Gospel Association. I enjoy listening to music, especially folk music and support Sheffield United through thick and thin!
